We called in advanced to make a reservation for 14 people, including 3 families with little kids, but when we arrived the table was not ready and we had to wait about 10 minutes in the hall for servers to prepare it. The place was almost empty when we arrived, and they had all the time in the world to get the table ready prior to our arrival.

It took them 40 minutes to bring two thirds of the order, and nothing from our list. We let the server know about it several times, but she only kept promising that it is coming.
After additional 15 minutes server kept arguing with us, that most of the food had been delivered and only small part of it still waiting in the kitchen. Of cause, this was not true. She just kept arguing and arguing and did not even think of apologizing.

To make the matter worse, another waitress, spill oil on our friends’ coats. Two big spots of oil totally destroyed the coats, and they did not even try to clean it or offer compensation. Our friend had to tell them to clean it, and only then one of the servers washed it with water. We had to argue with them, so that they agree to take some cost off the bill.

After long time of arguing with the waitress, we asked to call for the manager, but she said he was not there. We then decided to leave. Out of the sudden, a guy came and said he was the owner. I told him, that this kind of service was totally unacceptable. He then pushed me away to prevent from me to leave.

No more my family or any of our friends will go to this terrible place again.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343158955582481706.post-45609230972930883792012-08-22T12:58:40.616-04:002012-08-22T12:58:40.616-04:00You clearly have never eaten well prepared sushi b...You clearly have never eaten well prepared sushi before. This place is not worth the effort. I rarely go out of my way to review restaurants but this place is criminal. Trust me I've had better sushi from Metro. Both my wife and I have stomach issues today after eating the all you can stomach dinner last night.I eat sushi twice a week and this place is a Health Board review home run.The bathrooms are embarassing. Notice any passing grades posted on the front entrance? Didn't think so. There are a few things I would mention for them to imrpove the dining experience:
1- more than once I have gone into the place and I swear they were playing music from their iPod. A few Avril Lavigne songs played, few Celine Dion, you get my drift. They should focus more on playing relaxing Japanese instrumental music. Its calming and would add to the experience.
2- overall renovations! Although the restaurants pricing is low, the amount of money they make im sure is incredible. They should really update their decor and do some renovations. Last time I was there I saw some christmas decorations. It was September!
3- bring back the lunch edamame. They removed it on their lunch special, but at one of their competing restaurants still provides it.
Overall i would rate them a 7 out of 10 will some improvements their overall ratings would go up!Chrystallina Charitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10648264146811874783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343158955582481706.post-81179718092215839792011-10-26T22:11:55.790-04:002011-10-26T22:11:55.790-04:00Couldn't agree more!
